As you may already be aware, Siewert & Kau Computertechnik GmbH has filed for insolvency on May 2, 2025. On May 5, 2025, the Local Court of Cologne initiated preliminary insolvency proceedings and appointed Attorney Marion Rodine from RUNKEL Rechtsanwälte as the preliminary insolvency administrator.

In order to protect our contractual partners, business operations had to be stopped just prior to the filing. This decision was made with a heavy heart, as it meant we were unable to fulfill your orders. However, this step was unavoidable. Following the appointment of the preliminary insolvency administrator, extensive discussions were held with numerous contractual partners. Our goal — and continuing aim — has been to resume deliveries. We are now pleased to inform you that the necessary conditions for this have now been established as of yesterday. We are therefore preparing to resume processing and fulfilling your orders.

This process works as follows:

• Please inform us whether you wish to uphold your order(s) and, if so, to what extent.
• We will then check the availability of the goods and inform you of a revised delivery date.
• Payments for deliveries made after May 5, 2025, can only be made with debt-discharging effect to the bank account listed below.
• The commercial terms of your order(s) remain unchanged: pricing and payment conditions are unaffected.

Furthermore, we kindly draw your attention to the following: Customers who have received a letter from Coface Debitorenmanagement GmbH are requested to settle the outstanding invoices specified therein exclusively with Coface Debitorenmanagement GmbH. All other invoices not identified by Coface should be paid to the bank account provided below. Please also note that previously existing direct debit mandates can no longer be used, and payments must now be made via bank transfer.

We require your confirmation that:

• The existing orders remain valid.
• You will not offset any claims you may have against Siewert & Kau Computertechnik GmbH that arose prior to May 5, 2025, against
  payments for deliveries made after May 5, 2025. Such offsets are legally not allowed.
• You have updated your system to reflect the bank details listed below for future payments to us.
